Enjoyed a full pour at the brewery this afternoon and now from a 1/2 growler. Pours near clear medium honey amber. Delicate egg shell head, stays nicely, very slowly goes to a thicker film, and leaves really fine looking tiny bubble ringed and splattered sheeting all over the glass. Nice looking glass of beer.
Leafy hop nose. Citric and tropical.
On the palate, its more of the same. Grapefruit all over this one, along with some nice sweet honey malt notes. Very nicely done, my kinda beer. Bright and flavorful.

Pours a golden straw color, crystal clear. The white head is short and dense with some big bubbles. Settles into a light cap.
The aroma is of a citrus and tropical fruit hop. Grapefruit and pineapple come forefront. Fairly juicy. Not much from the malt. Nice bright hop aroma.
The taste is of a honey malt, sweet and bready. Definitely not dry and chalky like most session IPAs. Grapefruit, grapefruit rind and light pine hit first. There seems to be a sweet pineapple tropical fruit flavor. A very bright flavor, almost buddy but not quite. Solid grassy bitterness in the finish.
The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. Sweet on the palate but finishes with a drying bitterness. Some lingering bitterness. Drinks very well.
A very nice sessionable wet hop ale. All Long Island hops used in the brew which is nice to see.

Grabbed a mason jar to go of this a few hours earlier. Unscrewed the cap and dug in.
a - brew carries a deep copper orange color, transparent but rich in color. Swirling my glass quickly built a foamy IPA head that hung out and left some spotty lace.
s - nose is really fantastic as you can imagine. Fresh gooey hops. Really rich, really lush, really tropical, really citric.
t/m/o - wet hopping this beer turns it up to twelve. It fixes the problem of a session beer by making it feel like a full bodied IPA. Homerun. Same great session beer, but turn up the IPA happiness about 40 notches. I was really disappointed when I heard they didn't wet hop massive IPA again, but this...this is a beer! Get it while it is uber fresh on draft or bottles!
