Golden blond in color. White head. Grainy nose with some hop presence. Taste is smooth, slightly sweet with a hop balance. Overall and very well made Helles; true to style in taste and presentation.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale straw with tall, short lived, fluffy, white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Grassy hops and pale malt nicely balanced on the palate. Finish is medium and dry. Overall it is good brew.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that rapidly dissipated, leaving only some wisps of bubbles on the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: The smell is a little sweet and has a malty, cotton candy-like aroma.
T: The taste is nearly a mirror image of the smell, except that the cotton candy flavors are stronger and impart a bit of associated sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a very unusual aroma and flavor that I can't really put a finger on as I've never experienced something quite like it before. It seems like this beer could use some hops to balance off the maltiness and sweetness.

Have had this on draft at the brewery many a time but this review comes from a bottle and enjoyed from a GSB snifter.
a - brew pours a crisp transparent honey yellow with little to no head. Some sparse carbonation could be seen dancing to the surface but for the most part, looking through a yellow spring.
s - nose is grainy and lager but has a certain sweetness and something that I would call signature GSB...must be from an ingredient used, but gives all their brews a certain quality that makes them recognizable as GSB.
t/m/o - a very crisp and refreshing lager with a little sweetness and that GSB flavoring. Really tasty lager nice balance good amount of grain. This beer won't change your life but it might change your opinion on lagers. Very accessible.
