Dark brown, small head and decent lace retention.
Aroma of malts, hops, grapes, raisins and figs.
Taste followed the nose with a hint of chocolate.
The feel was high carbonation and a balance that was way off.
Crisp finish with a light body that was almost medium.

I swung by the Schwarzes Kreuz pub on 23SEP11 and squeezed in three 0.5l mugs of this nectar, each draining my wallet of €1.70.
This fresh offering was a clear, medium-to-deep copper, with a thin, off-white head, and solid lacing. A malty nose came forth, with a hint of toffee. It was a middle of the road medium for body, and passed rather easily over the tongue.
Light sweetness alit on the palate, with a touch of caramel and a bit more subtle toffee. A restrained spicy quality came into play near the finish. Tasty and very sessionable. Prosit!!
