a hilarious name for a brew here, on tap at the boise location. its a nice, summery wheat beer with a little more of a hop finish than a lot of these have, no super bitter, but kind of in the american pale ale range, super fresh tasting to me, and an easy pint to cruise through. the wheat malt must be high in the mash, there is a strong wheat aroma and flavor to this, nice and pale and simple, earthy, and fluffy feeling when i drink it. i like how dry and fast finishing it is, almost lager-esque somehow, and the wheat keeps it from being one dimensional with the hops. some lemon lime notes to the hop profile. a little bitter orange too maybe, and slight canned pineapple too, a summery and almost refreshing complexion, and it pairs really well with the obvious wheat flavor. the fermentation is real clean, nothing to speak of in terms of yeast contribution to the taste, but i like a nice tidy beer like this in this style, and could see this being awesome with spicy food like the wings or lettuce wraps in here. nice carbonation and professional execution overall, the little bit hoppier finish makes this distinct from its peers.
edit: slightly tart on the finish to me a few years later, not sour or infected or anything, but like lightly tannic from the wheat or something which makes it seem even drier on the back end. flavorful and easy drinking wheat beer, maybe a little bit evolved over the years, but distinct to me and well done overall.
