My first Kvass.
Still available in the USA in a 70 oz plastic bottle.
If I am reading the packaging correctly, it is 1.5% abv but also stated to be non-alcoholic.
Look: Exactly like a cola. No head or any kind of lacing like a beer. Lots of fizz.
Smell: This is where it gets interesting. Very sour malt smell and very sweet cola-like aroma.
Taste. Very sweet with a sour malt aftertaste, tastes like honey and raisins. Sour lactic acid taste.
Overall: I like it. This is my first Kvass, it seems like this is the more commercial soft drink styled variety, but still good. More intended to be a fizzy soft drink than anything else, I'm sure.
