Served on tap at Dr. Dremo's outdoor patio.
Appearance: Very cloudy amber liquid resembling a glass of unfermented organic apple cider, but with a smallish head of foam on top. The head clung to the side of the glass, but left no appreciable lacing.
Smell: Soft and pleasant smell of apple juice. Not complex or musty like a Normandy cider, but not Jolly Rancher chemical "apple" aroma either. Just a small amount of peel and woodiness, though.
Taste: Largely like an organic cider with a "beery" wheat beer aftertaste. Slightly sour on the finish with light notes of banana, cloves, and cinnamon.
Mouthfeel: Very light and a wee bit watery in body. Gentle carbonation, quite the thirst quencher.
Drinkability: Something like a snakebite plus. Great beer for the patio in the sweltering heat of DC summer, which is the only place you can have this.
