Served in a pint glass at the brewery.
Bright golden color with a thin lacy head and constant carbonation. It's about as beautiful as a beer can look with perfect clarity and color. 5
Smells like the brewery does often, like sweet oatmeal. Melon is the kid behind photobombing its way into the picture. Sweet and grainy prevail here. 4
White-wine like yeasty flavors are most prominent, but the oatmeal or grain-heavy flavor is plentiful. It gives way to a melon-y middle that tastes like a bite of cantaloupe. Somehow there's an earthy barnyard taste that reminds me of hay. 4
Marble's achieved a unique beer here on feel alone. While this has many pils-like characteristics like a dry and bitter finish, it's incredibly juicy and almost chewy like cantaloupe. The sweetness and bitterness manage to commingle to, again, offer a unique sensation. 4.25
This is a mad scientist lager. It seems Marble took their pilsner and worked hard to find a way to appeal to the IPA-obsessed that need a flavor fiesta in their mouths. This beer is a standout. Seems this beer will soon be gone forever and that's a shame.
