Can: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light rustic malt notes with some dry hoppy notes that are also noticeable. Taste is a mix of pale rustic malt notes with light yeasty notes and a dry hoppy finish. Body is slightly below average with good carbonation. Quaffable saison with limited level of complexity.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy white head that died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the smell along with hints of floral hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of citrusy hops along with notes of floral hops and hints of Belgian yeast.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With the dry-hopping, tis beer seems to be somewhat like a hybrid between an American Pale Ale and a Belgian Saison.

I bought this just to try and was pleasantly surprised. A great IPA at a reasonable price. I got hooked by IPA's about 4 years ago when they became available at my local food store (via Labatts purchase of Goose Island). There are better ones than this available in Quebec such as Moralité, and IPA du Nord-Est ( boreale). When you have to rinse the can twice you realize there are a lot of hops! So give this a try if you come to Quebec and are a fan of IPA's.

Nearly clear amber brew with long-lasting white foam in the Belle Gueule tulip. Lush mouthfeel with clouds of creamy carbonation. Aromatics of green beans, straw, and a hint of fermenting pineapple. Hops are listed as Mosaic, Cascade, and El Dorado. Distinct cereal taste with just a touch of malty sweetness.
Dry finish follows the mellow malt plus a hoppy touch of lime peel. Unmistakable Belgian character but the hops add an interesting dimension. Not overly yeasty, with just a pleasant scratch of bitterness in the aftertaste. From the 473 ml can purchased at IGA.
