Brasseur De Montréal "Bieres O Fruit Apple"
on tap at the brewery on 6 Octobre 2014
Notes: Hazy yellow body beneath a short head of white. Very little head retention, and only minor spots of lacing left behind. Smells like apple - nice. The flavor is like apple with milk sugar, no barley or hops are found, which is OK. Light bodied and crisp. Interesting, but ultimately lacking.

Bottle: Poured alight clear orangey color ale with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma consists of artificial apple syrup with sweet notes. Taste is also dominated by sweet apple notes with artificial syrup notes and overly sweet finish. Body is light with fizzy carbonation. Not sure what market they are aiming at with this one but I have a hard time thinking they will succeed.

Poured from a 341ml. bottle.
Appearance: Thankfully not green but rather a clear, pale gold body. 3-4 fingers worth of foam settle to 1 and some lacing is found.
Smell: Like a sour Granny Smith apple at first then sweetens a little bit after.
Taste: Tart green apple. That's pretty much it. Burst of flavor than nothing. Not too bad but no depth whatsoever.
Mouthfeel: Feels like lightly carbonated apple water with a clammy feel to it. Feels lifeless in my mouth.
Overall: Not recommendable. The smell it nice but nothing else in this beer backs it up. A gimmick beer and nothing else.
