4 oz. sampler at Special Event at The Beer Junction in West Seattle (barrel aged and bourbon beers). Pour had little head retention. Beer was dark, black and opaque. Little noticeable nose but has some hints of bourbon (maybe due to the sample glass). Thin mouth feel. Bourbon and chocolate hints throughout. Roasted malts. Not a bad beer. Not overpoweringly thick or bourbony.
