Pours a mahogany brown color, translucent with a bubbly tan head. Smells of dark fruit and sugars. Molasses and plums. Tastes like the smell, brown sugar, caramel and fruit flavors. Full-bodied with a fairly clean finish.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque the glass with a half finger dark khaki head with great retention and slippery lacing. Aroma of dark malt, cocoa, raisins, winter spicing. Flavor is semi-sweet dark malt, cocoa, mild dark dried fruit and a hint of coffee with holiday spicing, particularly allspice and cinnamon developing into a somewhat astringent bitter finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess, good mouth feel. A classic winter warmer profile with dark malt and dark dried fruit with typical holiday spicing. The finish tapers off leaving a lingering astringent spice flavor that is bitter like raw clove or cinnamon. Overall good, but a little unbalanced.

Great new addition to the Two Beers lineup. Winter seasonal brew available in stores as well as at the brewery.
Deep dark ale with a nice foamy head and appropriate carbonation. Dried fruit and caramel flavors with a great malt-y finish. Perfect winter ale that doesn't stray into the heavier stout area.

Deep brown with lingering billowing head and good lacing. Smells of fig, bready malt, whiff of booze, toffee. Taste is rich roasted malt, dried dark fruits, molasses. Medium carbonation, crisp feel. Overall very tasty and I could easily enjoy a few of these on a dark, rainy Seattle evening.
