22oz bottle of Two Beers newest. 5.4% ABV, 31 IBU, dry-hopped with Ahtanum and Citra. Served in a can glass. Fresh, biscuity aroma reminds me more so of pilsner lager than of Märzen. Good and clearly coppery color with lots of white foam. Not sure why they bothered with dry-hopping?
Flavor is relatively mild for a "Northwest" style and while the classic German lager flavor is there, the use of Munich malt seems extremely restrained. Makes me think of Altbier. Drinkability is fantastic here, I could very happily drink a liter of this. It would make for a great session at actual Oktoberfest, but lacks the unique taste of München that I'm after.
