Hazy yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Troubadour tulip. This is brewed with Sabro hops, a Yakama Chief introduction bred from the American native neomexicanus hop. It's really quite interesting. They say it has coconut aromatics, and maybe the power of suggestions, but it seems to along with cedar.
This is moderately sweet with a substantial body. Fairly acidic but mellow malt throughout. Flavors of sweet carrot, apricot, tangerine. Long citrus aftertaste but not too bitter. Overall an intriguing addition to the world of hoppy brews. From the 16 oz can purchased in the far Northwest.
