A nice fresh-hop beer with a big foamy head and a sharp, lingering aftertaste that goes on and on. Has a little more bite than I like, more in-line with what I expect from a double IPA. Color is yellow to amber, again with a big frothy head. The fresh-hop taste is in there, perhaps not as prevalent as in other fresh-hop beers I've had.

Another beer in the silly 22oz format, too bad this brewery doesn't have the capability of putting their beers into 12oz cans. Oh, wait...
Poured into 160z nonic. Poured a nice coppery amber color with an inch and a half of off-white head that had very good retention and light-to-moderate lacing. The aroma was bold pine hops upfront of a solid, but not sweet, malt base. The taste was basically the same, lots of bright hops in the front, some firm malts in the middle and a tangy hop finish that lingered nicely.
The body was very nice, smooth and full without being heavy, pleasantly solid. Drinkability was very good, especially if you like a brew that's a bit fuller than your typical IPA/Pale. Overall, a very nice brew that's a must try if you see it. I'll be grabbing a couple more of these ridiculous bottles while I can.

22oz bottle into a tulip. Pours a clear orange/amber with a big frothy off-white head.
Aroma is a nice tropical blend of citrus and apricot, a little sappy pine too. Smells sticky and dank, slightly floral. Bitter but not overwhelmingly so.
Taste is a little lighter and brighter than the nose. There's a nice fruity malt character that blends well with the fresh hops. Washes down clean.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Overall a pretty solid, balanced IPA. Nothing earth-shattering, but well-crafted and enjoyable.

A: Poured a deeper golden color with good carbonation leaving anice white cap, bubbles and light lacig behind
S: A very green IPA. Grass, and a very fresh cut grass vegetable type aroma wit somecitrus
T: Green and leafy notes immediately followed up by some citrus and grass. A little bit of caramel rounds it out. The finish is moderately bitter, citrus and leafy.
M: Medium bodied, well carbonated, no major flaws, citrus and grass camp out on the palate. This beer has a fuller tste than many Fresh Hop IPAs of the season

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into an Allagash cervoise glass.
A: Two fingers of head with clinging lace. Translucent golden amber.
S: Sticky-sweet-bitter wet hops. Fresh, earthy, vegetal, fruity, and chock full of flavor. Very nice.
T/M: Goodness! Deliciously carbonated, with spicy Simcoe leading the charge; the initial taste is the best aspect. As it wears on, the beer grows increasingly more hoppy, but not bitter-hoppy, more like herbal-hoppy. Lots of vegetable-ness and a touch of the medicinal marijuana that many find in wet hop ales. The aftertaste is awkwardly bitter -- astringent and chewy, herbal and strong.
O: An interesting IPA, one which I would drink again, but, somehow, not recommend.

taste: It's always the first fresh hop beer, which is a nice strategy as we are typically antsy for the fresh hop releases in early september. The hop profile isnt perfect - green and leafy but with a slight vegetal aftertaste.
mouthfeel: medium, oily
overall: OK, but there will be better

2-22 oz. Bottles Purchased @ The Ballard Market, Seattle, Washington for $5.49 + Tax Each 09-20-12. Lacy lasting off white head. Clear bright rich amber color hazes somewhat with addition of sediment hint at bottom of bottle. Rich floral fresh Hop aroma augmented with extra additions of Amarillo, Simcoe , Centennial, & Cascade dry hops. Rich smooth balanced mild sweet mild fruit, light toasted malt body with fresh hop infusion flavors. Clean mildly spiced refreshing clean hop end.Very Nice. Rich flavors and easy to drink. 6.2 % ABV--70+ IBU’s
