22 oz. Bottle purchased @ Chuck's 85th Hop Shop, Ballard, Seattle, WA for $7.59 + Tax. Thin fizzy light tan head with minimal tan lace hints. Fizz hazed cloudy hint dull opaque black color. No ruby edges and sightly brown shade. Cool Label. Rich roasted cinnamon all spice mild hop not overpowering front. Richly spiced yet balanced cinnamon all spice clove, hint of oak and orange medium tight textured mildly sweet dry roasted crisp dark Winter Ale body. Smooth mild hop mellow spice somewhat cloying off end due to addition of part of loosened big sediment pellicle. Nice body like a richer Anchor Our Special Ale until sediment dulls the end. Good dark Winter Spice Ale, just be careful decanting the end. (3.75 / 5.0) 32 IBU's.
