Pours an unruly fastfood orange juice colour and headless. Just butter on the nose. The taste harbours almost no mango flavour and not too much of a milkshake type flavour. Having said that, I actually enjoyed this beer, but I don’t determine the advertised features

473 mL can from the LCBO; one of four brews in Railway City's IPA Give'r Pack. Dated Sep 25 2021 and served barely chilled.
Pours a muddy, turbid straw yellow colour, briefly topped with one finger of soapy, frothy white head. It fizzles off within sixty seconds or so, leaving behind a bubbly collar of suds and a few far flung strands of lace. Not much to look at, and not especially fragrant either - the mango is in there for sure, but it took a couple of sniffs for me to pick it out of the aroma (though it is more immediately noticeable if you sniff the can). Beyond that, it smells a little sweet, with hints of orange juice, pineapple, canned pear and grainy, wheaty pale malts.
A serviceable pale ale: not especially 'milkshake-y' by my tastes, but I guess I can see where they were going with that. The lactose sweetness is a subtle presence, with notes of tangerine and mango at the forefront; lesser suggestions of pineapple, orchard fruit, melon, and some grapefruit pithiness later on, with a moderately juicy, somewhat bitter aftertaste that lingers for a moment or two. Medium in body, with spritzy carbonation that remains lively and crisp right down to the last sip; the carb gives some punctuation to its smooth, fluffy mouthfeel.
Final Grade: 3.73, a B grade. The Ringmaster Mango Milkshake IPA is a pretty good beer, overall. The milk sugar is more of a backdrop, with the mixture of tropical, citrus and orchard fruit-y hop flavours, together with the mango juice, comprising the bulk of the flavour profile. That's just fine with me, as it drinks more or less like a normal hazy IPA, but folks who were anticipating something more akin to a milkshake beer might be a little put off for that reason. About on par with their Juice Caboose, although this one (ironically enough) is the juicier of the two.
