From a 473ml can packaged on 11 25 2025. Poured into a pint glass. A two finger fine white head on a hazy lemon yellow. The head soon diminished to a thin cap with a ring of foam Minimal fine lacing.
Smells of citrus, grain and floral hops. Tropical fruits dominate the taste. grapefruit and orange. A mildly bitter hop finish.
A light body with good carbonation. Overall a solid but unremarkable Hazy pale Ale.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. Canned May 7/25. My seventh beer from the St. Thomas, Ontario brewery, and fourth for 2025. With Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Nov 16 2023 and served slightly chilled.
Pours foggy and effervescent, its pale yellow-hued body capped with an inch of lumpy, foamy white head that lasts for several minutes. A soapy cap and collar remain in place afterwards, with an arcing pattern of sticky lace clinging to the glass - looks good to me. Fruity nose that includes notes of passion fruit, grapefruit and orange, backed by hints of stone fruit, gritty, grainy malts and floral, herbal hops.
A tasty pale ale with low bitterness and an underwhelming malt profile. Grainy pale malts are largely brushed aside by flavours of grapefruit, orange and lime with hints of passion fruit. It finishes with floral, herbal hops, citrus peel and grassy bitterness that fades into a fairly dry aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that adds a nice crispness to this brew's smooth, somewhat frothy mouthfeel. A crushable pale ale that I enjoyed from start to finish.
Final Grade: 3.84, a B+. For a hazy pale ale, Railway City's Whistle Stop ain't half bad. I'm not going to pretend it blew me away or anything, but I do think it's better than average, and this four month old can is still drinking fine. The real problem is that this doesn't stand out much from the plethora of similar 'hazy pale ales' you can find at the LCBO, so there's not much of an incentive to pick this one specifically. It does fill a hole in this brewery's portfolio, though, and in the interest of supporting a semi-local business I'll definitely be trying this again, whenever fresh stock makes its way up the 402.
