The brew I tasted is a special edition 2018. abv 5.5, ibu 21 srm 20.
Made from malts, hops, yeast, labrador tea and juniper berries.
Style is a northern red ale.
Pours a golden red with a cream head, little lacing.
Smells of toasted malt with some juniper and tea.
Tastes like a red ale with some complexity added by the labrador tea and the juniper.
It is nicely carbonated and well balanced, easy to drink and goes down easy.
I recommend this if you can find it and like the style.

Dense hazy brown color with an amber hue. Slightly creamy light brown 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with mediocre legs. Flavors of caramel, molasses, dark grains, wild berries, walnuts, and herbal hops. Slick and oily medium to full body with average carbonation. Light to medium strength finish, moderately fruity, a bit roasted and spicy with a tea or tobacco like effect. More sugary and grainy than hoppy. Decent freshness. Overall good quality craft.

Can: Poured a clear brown color ale with a nice foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light dry malt notes with some light tea and spices notes. Taste is a mix of light dry malt with subtle residual sugar notes with some tea and spices notes. Body is about average with goo carbonation. Enjoyable and easy to drink with moderate complexity.
