Pours a hazy bright yellow color with a one finger head which subsides to skim and gives way to some lacing. The aroma is a big banana smell with a slight hint of citrus and cloves. The taste is of banana and clove with some big tartness. The wheat backbone is pretty hidden. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy and has low carbonation. The drinkability is okay, the smell was better than the taste was and leaves you a little disappointed. It is an easy drink, but it doesn't leave you wanting much more.

On tap at Craft Ale House...
Appears a cloudy light gold with a small white head that quickly fades into a mild cap. Spotty bits of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of crisp, tart wheat, notes of citrus, light bananas, and cloves. A nice smelling hefe.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with emphasis on the crisp, tart wheat and esters of bananas with cloves.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, crisp, mildly peppery, with a refreshing finish.

A- A cloudy golden yellow with a decent head.
S- Banana. Lots of it. Sugar, a bit of spice, and some muddled citrus.
T- The aroma was quite the precursor to the taste. Lots of banana. A little citrus. Lots of sweetness....too much sweetness. Wheat is hidden in the background along with a very light clove taste. Finishes mostly sweet with just a little crisp citrus twang. Could have used more balance and a little more wheat and spice.
M- Not too thin, just about right for this Hefe. A little overcarbonated though.
D- A good hefe if you're a sweet banana hefe fan. For me, one was plenty, as the sweetness was just too much for me.

The great hefeweisen debategoes on, too much banana, too much cloves...too wheaty? This brew poured a cloudy golden colour,no head, but left a light lacing. Slight banana nose, hints of cloves in there somewhere..I had a slight bitterness aftertaste after polishing off a quick 4oz. I've had better hefeweisens, but this new brewery has time to work on their recipes!

On-tap at brewery:
Pours clouded golden yellow with a white head that thins. Some lacing sticks.
THe smell is of banana - very much banana. There's just a hint of clove. Beyond the banana, there is a backing of citrus orange and some lemon. A slight wheat tang is beyond that. Pretty complex with banana dominating.
The taste is of banana - heavy on the banana. There is some citrus and a touch of wheat tang. Very light on the clove. Sweet and sourish finish.
A bit thin, with a hint of wateriness. Crisp enough.
If you like your HW's to be banana-y, you will certainly like this one! A nice, sessionable, refreshing brew!

A- Pours a cloudy, golden (straw) color with a finger and a half head that dissipates slowly leaving great lacing.
S- Banana, clove, citrus, and wheat. A small hop presence is there as well as a hint of bubblegum.
T- Banana and bubblegum in the beginning, but the citrus and spices are the real stars when it comes to this brew's flavors. The citrus and spices really balances this beer out and gives this hefe a nice dry finish.
M- Light to moderate feel with moderate carbonation.
O- This is a tasty hefe that's gets a slightly higher drinkability because of the strong citrus flavor it contains. Even though I love Wheat beers their sweetness usually catches up to me after a pint or two, but with the citrus keeping everything else in check; I could drink quite a few of these brews. I'll definitely be refilling this growler in the near future. Cheers!
