On tap at chislic festival.
Darker than an amber should be - brownish red, with a butter colored head.
Aroma of piney hops and gritty yet dirty malt, sorta nutty. Appropriate but unclean.
Chocolate malt makes up probably 5-8% of this grist bill. You can taste it. Nutty chocolate and amber malt meet slight yet aggressive herbal hops.
Crisp and carbonated, good feel, no starches.
Apart from being a brown ale, it’s brewed well. Not bad.

biscuit flavor dominates the pallet. Needs more carbonation and could use more red malt as it is more dark gold than red.
