While this is closer to amber in Looks, the rest supports the American Blonde Ale styling. Smells are mostly malt, but average. Tastes improve with some character in the spicing. In my mouth, light but bubbly enough to wash down a hasty lunch. Probably, should not brew again.
As for the huge Overall Hugs I give, it's all about Potosi; trying to make this struggling town survive on brewing and tourism. Not every town needs to survive, but trying is worthwhile and Potosi makes a noble effort. With its national museum on brewing (a stretch without seeing it), nowhere has been put back on the map. The Yiddish term is chutzpah. Power to Potosi.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours red orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain. Tastes of sweet grain with slight spices. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.
