Golden in color with a big white bubbly head and some carbonation.
Nice little tartness in the nose with aromas of cereals, lemon and a little bit of pepper.
Taste really similar to the nose, I taste a little bit of smoke also.
Nice mouth feel. Probably the best beer I've tried from the brewery yet.

Based of a few day old memories.
L: A very pale straw color. Two fingers of head. Carbonation is easily visible and creates a thick two finger head. I have never seen this much sediment in beer; there is an absolutely insane amount of "floaties" in this beer, almost to the point of it being unappetizing. Yeast bits were also visible trapped in the thick, bubbly head.
S: A bit peppery, belgian yeast, maybe a bit of citrus. Smells very refreshing an very belgian.
T: Like the smell: peppery, slightly spicy. I also get some bready notes. Malt is restrained and the beer is extremely dry. A faint citrus note - think of lemon zest - comes through as well and ties everything together nicely.
F: Carbonation is intense, even for a saison I found this to be a lot. That being said the body is dry, slightly thin, and verydrinkable. You would never guess this to be a 6.5% beer.
O: Pretty good. Another great offering from La Chouape.

A:
Pours a hazy pale straw chamomile tea color with an enormous fluffy white head that takes multiple pours and barely settles. Almost-too-good retention; sticky frothy lacing.
S:
Spicy and funky. Bubblegum, chalk, lemongrass.
T:
Dry and simple. Doughy, dry, medicinal hops, orange rind.
M:
Light bodied and really drinkable with a rich velvety mouthfeel and a quick and painless finish.
O:
Pretty tasty saison.
So far I have liked every saison by these guys that I have had. They are nothing revolutionary but are tasty simple beers.
Pours beautifully and only not perfect because there is obviously too much carbonation. Smells nice and yeasty and has a nice doughy yet dry flavor. Lovely mouthfeel.
This is fairly boring I guess you could say. Which is to say that it is level, straightforward, etc.
Would have again; worth trying if you just randomly come across it.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark beige color ale with a really large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of rustic malt with nice spicy yeast notes is very enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by a yeast strain with a spicy character and some rustic malt with a dry finish. Body is quite full with super great carbonation. This saison is really flying under the radar but I would buy a ton of this beer if I was able to get access to this on a regular basis.
