Hazy, pulpy, and opaque. Excellent head production, decent retention, and nice lacing. Color is a fairly dark greenish-tinged orange.
Herbal and slightly juicy nose. Tangerine, mango, melon, honey, flowers, white bread.
Bright on the palate, with plenty of juicy hops but a surprisingly grainy and thin malt base backing it up; little sweetness for an 8% ABV IIPA. Flavors are similar to the nose, along with a green herbal grassiness. Mild astringency and restrained bitterness.
Very smooth with just enough lively bite. Short herbal finish but a relatively long and mild aftertaste, strangely.
Too grassy and grainy for my preference, but it's a well crafted beer with no off flavors.
