Dark copper brew with a head that lasted and turned to foamy lacing. Light carbonation with a mouth-feel that's right in the middle of thick and thin. It tastes complex and it should with all the hops and malts that the brewers used. It is smooth and just a little bitter, but that doesn't last. As it warms up it gets better. I may have to do a little more research on this baby! It's a well crafted beer. Definetly worth a try.

Not overly impressed with this beer. Tastes very carbonated and not a whole lot of flavor. I've had several beers from this brewery and this might be the worst one. I've definitely had way better Oktoberfest style beers.

Pours a hazy copper with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, earth, and slight nut aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, biscuit, caramel, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid toast and earth characteristics that are slightly better in the smell to me.
