Thanks to leftpaw for bringing this stuff out to somewhere, I think we were disc golfing.

Pours that color that you get when you mix yellow and pink. Small thin head, 1/6". Aroma of kind gag inducing cherry vomit and sourness. Can tell this isn't going my way already.

Taste, ugh, holy moly this is rough stuff. Lots of vinegar/acetic acid feels already. No brett. The cherry is distracting at best. The 'sour' flavors are not appealing.

Extremely disappointing.

From the 12oz can to an oversized wine glass
First noted on 09/05/15 - Have had a few of these

Nice crisp with some refreshing tart cherry flavor
Pours an almost fuchsia color. Has a lovely rosy glow to it with some obscuring haze across the body. Nice lather of frothy bone white with pinkish hues comes to rests for a few moments. Some minimal slippery stick washes down the glass.
Tart cherry is dominant but not overly so. Sweet doughy malts and a touch of grainy wheat. Mild acidic vinegar quality. A whisper of sea salt.
Cherry juice up front with sweetened pie crust underneath. Some moments of citrus and wheat. Lightly tart and crisp with a subtle briny finish. Moderate spritz on the palate. Low perceived bitterness. Finish is dry and salty with a light watery feel. A nice easy drinker - soft like a gose or light berliner.
Doesn't melt your face. Accessible and approachable.

Pours looking like an ice cream float featuring strawberry soda; a blushing pink red body, and a bubble gum pink head. 2 fingers, stays strong and doesn't waver.

Almost no smell, save for a touch of fruity esters, brett yeast, and strawberry bubble tape.

Quite a bit of vinegar up front, followed by a touch of cherry juice, then yeast, and finally more fruity vinegar on the finish.

Feel is creamy, prickly carbonation, dry finish.

Overall I could have done with less vinegar and more fruit and yeast, but it's okay. A welcoming beer that's easily drinkable but really struggles in the flavor department.

Appearance is hazy pink with an overly fizzy white head.
The aroma, or should I say "smell", reminds me of a fairly ripe cheese.
Fun Fact: I have never rated a beer's aroma so low before.
Taste? Barely palatable. Sort of sour, very faint cherry flavor, not at all what a beer should taste like.

I'm now tempted to go buy a Belgian Kriek Lambic to prove to myself that this style of beer can be successful.

Sours are not my thing - I just don't get it. When I opened this beer from my Craft Advent Calendar, my wife wondered if the dog had vomited somewhere in the house. For me, the smell is horrific - sour milk filled with Jolly Rancher horror. The taste, well, it does what sours do. I can't say I disliked how this went down. Sour beers are worthy adventures, but I'm glad I limit them to once or twice a year.

Day 17 of the Craft Beer Advent Calendar.

L: Pink/ Red with a nice white head that didn't leave any lacing.

S: Tart grapefruit smell with a slight cherry smell as well.

T: Super sour cherry flavour with almost a slight cough syrup taste.

F: Light body feel with nice amount of carbination.

O: A pretty good sour beer but probaly wouldn't have this one again something about the after taste I don't really like.

A hazy peach coulour with a nice medium head. Dissipates into a thing foam on top. Definitely smells like sour cherries but very sweet also, like candy; almost reminds me of cherry blasters. Incredibly sour at first, then slightly bitter. The cherry flavour starts to come through somewhere after the bitterness then finishes with a dry maltyness. Mouth feel is very coarse and carbonated, soda-like. Overall a very interesting brew, like cherry soda.

Pours a hazy, salmon coloured body with light, pink head that quickly dissipates to a surface film. The smell is lightly like cherries but has a predominant acidic smell, which is vaguely like butyric acid. Dear goodness I am scared to taste this. The taste is very sour, hardly pleasant at all, and has way too many vomit tones for me to push through. What I do get on feel is incredibly harsh and unpleasant. But hey, it looks cool, sorta.

Update: Without a doubt infected.

12oz can (the last one, thankfully), day 17 of the Craft Beer Advent Calendar - nice, I suppose, to have a lower ABV offering such as this to break things up.

This beer pours a cloudy, medium salmon-amber colour, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy pink-tinged head, which leaves a bit of stringy island chain lace around the glass as things quickly dissolve.

It smells of semi-sweet and yet sour cherry juice, a very moldy and cheesy funkiness, grainy wheat malt, a further weird lactic tartness, and some mild floral and weedy bitterness. The taste is sort of sour cherry, raspberry, and plum, sweet grainy wheat and pale malt, a musty white cheesiness, a still strange salted buttery lactic thing, and more plain floral, I'm gonna say hop-borne, bitters.

The carbonation is decently fizzy and frothy in its supportive and tingly measures, the body on the light side of yer typical middleweight, and mostly smooth, I suppose, the funk not coming out to frolic here. It finishes off-dry, the base malt and guest milky notes seeing the cherry tartness, and raising.

Yeah, that lactobacillus really does a number here, in softening out the fruity sourness, and subsequently deploying some of its own version. From my first whiff, I had to fight to get a direct line on the cherry essence, through the fog of lactic character - milk, acid, and cream alike. Interesting, but not something to which I'd care to return.

A 12 fl oz can with no visible best before date on the can. It was poured into short stemmed wine glass.

Appearance: It poured a hazy reddish pink colour with a one finger surprisingly white head that dissipated fairly quickly with almost no lacing.

Aroma: Tart cherries and cherry juice. There is also that buttery aroma that I got in the Blackberry Sour, but it is much less, which is a good thing.

Taste: Much like the aroma, it is of tart sour cherry and cherry juice.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Overall: This was definitely better than the Blackberry Sour in my opinion. Although my dislike of the buttery like aroma was still kind of there, it was not nearly as overpowering. The sour cherry taste was also more my thing although it is still overly juicy (juice like).

From 09/24/15 notes. 12 oz can poured into my Lost Abbey stemware; thanks Dane!

Pours a very dark red with one finger of pink head and moderate carbonation evident. Light sour cherries wheat funk vinegar oak, black cherry soda dark fruits and fruity malts. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Overall very good, like a black cherry Berliner or hard soda. Worth checking out.

A: Slightly sweet and medicinal, followed by some cherry and light earthy note, reminiscent of Vicks Cherrry.

A: Very bright red, quite clear with a huge fluffy white head, that slowly dissipates.

T: Tart cherries up front, followed by some malt. The finish is slightly off.

M: Light bodied with moderately-high carbonation.

O: While the beer’s appearance is great, there’s something off about the aroma and flavor that present the beer from being great.

Black Market's Tradecraft Cherry Sour. 3.8% ABV.

A: Very clear plum, with about two fingers of slightly rose-tinted cream colored head.

S: Creamy malt foundation, with a hibiscus. Cherry in the background, and very light.

T/MF: More of the hibiscus with a light tart cherry, over top of salty, almost sweat-like, acidity. More of a Berlinerweisse or Gose. Fairly mild. More of a light salad pairing. Not really something I'd drink by itself. Seems like it would be a good gateway into sours for your standard light AAL drinker.

Poured from a 12 oz. can, into a Belgian tulip glass.

A - Pours a nice clear, cherry red color with no lacing ring and no carbonation.

S - Candy cherry with a small hint of sourness.

T - Tart sugar cherry with a small amount of sour tartness on the back end.

M - Medium body and finishes wet.

O - Glad I was able to try this.

Pours a finger and half on a hazy red body.
The aroma is a nice mixture of cherries and wheat.
The taste is mildly sour, nice cherry tart and a long dry finish.
The texture is crisp and fizzy.
Really enjoyable.

Pours a brilliant reddish pink, and smells of sour cherry. Taste much like the aroma, but more tart than sour, unexpectedly. Lighter carbonation than its blackberry sister, and a little more enjoyable (for myself). Reminiscent of a Gose due to a precieved saltiness. Cheers!

Pours a murky red with a foamy pinkish-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, cherry, cherry juice, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, cherry, and cherry juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice mix of sour cherry and cherry juice aspects all around.

A: Pours a nice reddish color with a purple hue to it. A slightly pink head foams up pretty quickly and wells up to about two fingers before settling down.

S: A pretty nice and light tart cherry aroma with this kind of buttery, oaky and creamy overtone that's a little off-putting. It's not buttery enough to make me think there's a legitimate issue going on, but it's a little strange.

T: Some tart cherry to this with a slightly wheat-y backbone and a touch of that butter that I picked up in the smell. Has a touch of coriander as well. Mouthfeel is nice and light and if it was a little cleaner, this would be crushable for days. It's still way too easy to down, but that buttery note just leaves an asterisk on this one for me. Good, but could have been better.

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass

A: Pink, reddish color with a red tinged head that disappeared fast, not a whole lot of carbonation, no lacing, very thin looking.

A: Sour, tart, cherries, pungent, no alcohol.

T: Slight sour tartness, picking up some cherries, yeast aftertaste, finishes tart, semi-dry.

M: Very light, thin, not much carbonation.

O: I'd called this a session sour, very easy drinking with light flavors, more on the tart side than the sour side, love the aroma.

Adding that cherry red color to a golden beer creates the nicest pinkish shade. Swirling foam in the Stella Artois gobet. Mouthfeel is creamy and tart. Not much aroma, but a little fruit in the nose. This is just tart enough, like eating pie cherries without sugar.

Some malty notes but thin and sharp as you might expect from the low alcohol. The cherry flavor is distinct but modest. Very drinkable and interesting. I think Black Market is doing an admirable job with these fruity tart brews. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, Washington.

Poured from 12oz can into a tulip.

Appearance: medium pinkish hue with a light haze and moderate effervescence. Head is two fingers of frothy pinkish foam; pretty attractive!

Smell: rich cherry aroma with just a tiny hint of sourness. Fresh and appealing -- I love it.

Taste: a nice, light, fresh tartness along with a more subdued cherry character than the aroma. Finish has a nice malty character; it reminds me of a Flemish ale. I really dig it.

Mouthfeel: medium -light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess. Not bad.

Overall: it's no secret I love cherry beers, and this one is damn good.
