Stopped into Black Market Brewing co. on the way back to Los Angeles from a weekend San Diego trip. Actually the 2nd attempt to try more of their beers, as 10 months or so earlier, their tasting room had not opened yet.
This beer was fairly limited, per the bartender, as well as the board that indicated no growler fills of it.
A: Pours a clear mahogany with a half inch of tan colored head.
S: Sweet roasted malt, carmel, light cinamon, mild hops.
T: Some dark fruits, caramel, roasted malt, and slight hop bitter finish.
M: Light body mouthfeel, medium carbonation, a little dry bitterness.
O: Pretty decent, though their regular brown is a bit better.
