appearance - black with a tiny little tan head.
smell - smells classic for the style, getting a lot more citrus from the hops here. roast character is also smelling quite chocolatey, its just not coming thru in the taste.
taste - bland roasted malts, hop character is pretty boring in there compared to a lot of ipas ive been having.
mouthfeel - medium carbonation with a medium to thin body for the style and abv. a bit bland and bitter at the same time.

On tap at Far Bar in Los Angeles. Review from notes.
A - Pours a coffee black with a little head. Tan, thin, but decent retention.
S - Roasty and citrusy. Interesting combination.
T - Very dry, roasty, with some coffee and chocolate notes. Nice surprising citrus and grapefruit hop notes.
M - medium-high carbonation. I would like a bit more body on this and a little less carbonation.
O - A nice beer from Black Market. Lacks some complexity, but I like the direction Black Market is going.
