12 oz can, no date or ABV listed, into Boiler brandy snifter.
Bold, burnt, black with a creamy finger of light brown head. Leaves lace in walls as it recedes.
Aroma is roasted peanut butter and sweet peanut butter, with shades of coffee, clean water, and hot fudge topping. Wow.
Flavor starts with carbonated water and heavy earthy hop, followed by peanut butter wafer, cocoa, and bitter dark roast coffee. Northern AL/TN really has this interesting thing with their water profile and peanut butter that makes it taste like peanut butter wafers. It's nearly in all of the PB beers. Interesting. Finish of earthy cocoa and slight dirt.
Feel is hard and carbonated, with a roasty finish and light alcohol. Very slightly semi-creamy. Doesn't particularly fit the beer.
Overall a pretty decent imperial PB stout, but nothing that's winning my heart to crawl back for more.

Beer that tastes like beer with the chocolate / PB subtle and complementary. Well done.

L - pours up a beautiful black with a gorgeous 2 finger head, good retention, and tons of spotty lacing up and down the glass.
S- the nose follows the name. Peanut butter, coffee, chocolate, and milk.
T- Coffee and chocolate dominate the taste. The finish is a slight peanut butter flavor and the aftertaste is milk.
F- Thick and chewy, with a bit of a burn present.
O - It's a shame this one is a limited release. It is quite yummy!!!
