What can I say? Nearly a perfect example of the style. Dark fruit? Check. Clove? Check. Touch o' the banana? Check. Rich and malty? Check. Dark brown and cloudy? Check.

Not a lot of room for creativity in this style if you wanna be spot on, but this one was spot on. One of the more enjoyable German styles, IMHO.

This one was brewed specially for the Free The Hops Oktoberfest, but I've been informed it will become a regular fall seasonal. I eagerly await another shot at it next year. My condolences to all those in Birmingham who were not lucky enough to get a glass out of the 20 gallons brewed this year!
