Made for the true ale drinker. Light copper color. Rich malt with mineral water taste. Good hop flavoring and bitterness. The Brewmaster's favorite style ale.

Pours a clear light copper colour with a fluffy white one-inch head on top. Tons of lacing left behind. This definitely looks good. Smell is hoppy; mostly grapefruit citrus with a bitter, earthy feel to it. Some bready malt sweetness underlies this but it's not very prominent.
This is a pretty tasty beer. Slight bready malts lead into an earthy, leafy hop finish. A little bit of a floral or citrus taste. Bitter finish with some ethanol. Solid hop presence, but not a serious blast - it's definitely in the English IPA style rather than the American one. A little thin-bodied, and slightly creamy mouthfeel.
This is a well-crafted IPA that I could see myself picking up again. Not sure if it would be a good session beer, but as a summer refresher with decent hop bite, this fits the bill nicely.

Cheers to joemcgrath27 for yet another hook-up...
A - Pours a nice golden orange colour, slight haze, finger of beige head with some retention and sporadic lacing.
S - Sweet citrus hops, though a bitterness is prevalent on the nose. Definitely earthy with cedar and pine notes as well.
T - Impressive flavour with floral citrus hops complemented by a slight bitterness. Some caramel and buttered bread linger on the tongue. Quite tasty indeed.
M - Medium bodied ale, though I did find that it lost its lift as it went down, leaving it a tad thin. By no means a major turnoff though.
O - Overall a very tasty IPA from another Alberta craft brewery. Glad I got the opportunity to take this one for a spin and could easily be a go-to IPA (if it were available in Calgary). Easily drinkable and full flavoured... Yummy!

A - slightly hazy golden, thumb of white head dissipated to a decent consistent lacing
S - grainy, earthy with light pineapple, and a mineral note
T - medium hop notes of juicy citrus and earthiness, light florals, grainy malt, and a distinct mineralish finish
M - subdued carbonation, thin and smooth, finishes with a mild bitter
O - a subdued IPA in terms of hoppiness, but I imagine it was brewed as more of a regular session IPA and it serves that purpose well, the flavours are balanced and understated, but unique enough to have its own character, assuming it will be available in Calgary it will become a session option for me

Hard to believe, that in a metro area of almost one million (beer-drinkin') people, there is no local brewer with a standard IPA in their regular rotation. Until now...
This beer pours a clear medium copper hue, with two fingers of dense foamy eggshell white head, which leaves some drooping cobwebbed lace around the glass as it recedes. It smells of biscuity, bready malt, some mild citrus, and weedy, earthy noble hops. The taste is crisp biscuity grain, and bitter leafy, earthy hops. The carbonation is moderate, the body medium weight, a bit tingly, and it finishes quite dry, the biscuity, leafy character dominating.
I have to say that I was hoping that the first sixer of a local IPA that I saw in this town would provide a nice American hop fix. Alas, this is not the case. However, as an IPA of the English bent, this beer delivers all around. Good stuff.
