On tap at the brewery on de Lorimier. They have a great rotating list of Quebec micros on tap as well as one or two of their own.
Nice cloudy, dark honey colour. Good airy white head. Nice looking IPA.
Huge hops smell; a blend of grass, pine and grapefruit with some malt to balance it out. This is how I like an IPA to smell.
This is quite similar to Dieu du Ciel's Belgian "blonde" Derniere Volonte (which I consider to be a Belgian IPA) but not quite as tasty. Still a solid effort though. Some sweetness. Not enough malt to balance the hops, which taste here like marijuana and pine.
Good feel, not amazing. It's a bit on the thin side.
Derniere Volonte is one of my favorite beers and this one comes off as a fairly close copy, though not quite there. I think I would have rather tried something else on their list but would potentially buy this again sometime.
