Poured into a Pokal/Footed Pilsner glass.

A: Straw, slightly opaque colour, minimal head that disappears pretty quickly, with minimal to no lacing.

S: Quite a sweet aroma, some apple fruit, perhaps some banana and other sugar, light malt smells.

T: Pretty malt forward beer, as is typical of the style, but not as sweet as the smell as otherwise noted. Light grains with notes of honey and just slight fruitiness, finishing off with a light to medium grassy, bitterness.

M: Pretty strong carbonation on the tongue, but I agree that it works for this style as the overall mouth feel is pretty refreshing and light, but does have a bit of bite being 6%...

O: As with American Blonde's, they are bit of a strange ale, almost a pale ale, almost a lager, but can vary between breweries quite a lot. That being said I don't agree with the person giving it under a 2.... To rate it lower than Budweiser Lime Light Margarita beer, and throwing it out is pretty harsh... This is a decent Blonde Ale but yes not spectacular... lacks a little bit of complexity... you're left wanting a little more because it is a little more than a simple lager. If you like the style it is worth trying as it is easy drinking and would go well with Mexican food (what I'm having now), as opposed to a watery other type of beer...

Picked up at a Montreal brewshop because it was inexpensive and had a funny label. Poured beautifully into a tulip glass, though with a bit of a haze - massive, sticky head. Unexpected amount of European hops in the aroma... green apple and something I can't place. First sip was passable, grainy, earthy hop bitter, metallic finish, but got worse and worse as I went on. Poured it out (and I rarely do that!) as I had lots of other good beers to try.

Passable blond ale. My bottle had a cartoon rather than Sylvester Stallone on. Fizzy blonde body, lots of fading white head. Mouthfeel is soft, buffered by malt mostly. Taste is somewhere between a plain lager and a plain blonde, with a bit of metallic mouthfeel. Some bitterness.

A: Very pale color, straw like. Aggressive pour gives a small pure white, creamy looking head. Not perfectly translucent. Retention is very good for the style, as well as the lacing.

S: Quite interesting taste. There is a LOT of biscuit malts. There is also a very good sweetness in the smell of this beer. There is good vanilla, light honey and cane sugar. Quite fruity too with notes of lemonade, orange zest and a bit of lime. Strong smell for the style and ABV.

T: Very dominant biscuit malts and tart. Less sweet than the smell, but the honey is still there as well as very slight vanilla. The citruses are still there but they taste more like a very dry lime than in the smell. There is also a little grassy hops in it. Very refreshing brew and quite different from what I'm used to from this style.

M: Medium to light body with medium to high level of carbonation. Suits the beer very well.

D: Ultra drinkable, no doubt about it. Very easy to drink and still interesting enough to not get bored off this beer.
