My second beer by Perła, and to me maybe not quite as good as my first, Perła Export. Both are similar but this one seems to have less of a malty/bready flavor. Still, this tastes exceedingly clean and pure, and hides its 6+% abv very well. And for the price, I'll probably buy both again and try them next to each other to get a better comparison next time.

Pours clear, straw yellow in color with 1/2 inche head. Taste is earthy hops and grain. Light bodied, crisp, sweet, and high carbonation. Makes for a solid and tasty Polish lager. I would get this again.

Perła Chmielowa (Hop)/Lubelska has a thick, white, spongy head, a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, and a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, honey-oriented malt and white bread crust. Taste is of the same, with a pleasant yeast component and a touch of hop bitterness to round out the sip. Mouthfeel is medium, and Perła Chmielowa (Hop)/Lubelska finishes crisp and refreshing.

Poured from a single pint bottle into a stella artois glass. %1.40 something at the beer market!

Clearish frothy, tiny-bubbled head, not too large, and didn't last too long. Fair to excellent lacing.

Smelt very flowery, not bouquet-ish, but more like that initial smell when walking into a garden shop. Color was a nice clear golden amber. Maybe even more on the lighter amber side.

Taste was resinous at first that led to an almost soapy butter as I took i held it in, and gave way to a grainy clove-ish finish.

Pretty good, I mind as well buy a few of these for the price. Or maybe it's just cause I haven't had a pilsner in a while.

500 ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Some poured into the sink.

Pours light amber with virtually no foam or fizz. Settles out immediately. Smell is a rather bland to annoying corn smell. Not a good start.

Taste is a corn/malt combination that isn't nearly as pleasant as that sounds. Grassy in a mildewy kind of way? Kind of reminds me of a malt liquor.

Bad aftertaste, a difficult drink. Go elsewhere.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a fast falling white head. Nose is nice and grainy with a nice meaty/earthy edge to it. Flavor is very robust and deep with a slight earthy and metallic edge to it. Feel is low on bubble on the tongue and a thinner liquid feel. Drinkable, yes. Overall, not too shabby. I won't say it is the greatest ever. But it isn't total garbage.

One of the many beers I bought for the 4th of July BBQ.

The is the first beer I've ever opened that started erupting from the bottle! (I didn't shake or drop it). Needless to say, I got a huge head of white foam that slowly tapered off to a cover leaving some splotchy lace. Clear light gold.

Nose was sorta grassy and mild. Taste was grainy slightly sweet, clean light mouthfeel with a dry finish.
Not overly carbonated despite what happened while opening!

All in all an ok summer cool down brew.

Pours straw yellow with a thick white head that descends to a lasting thin cover.

The smell is of sweet grains with a touch of cedary hops.

The taste is of sweet grains, water and drying, cedary, slightly metallic, hops in the finish that are almost washed out by water and sweetness, but hang in there. More woody than the typical grassy for the style thanks to the Lublin hops.

A bit thin, though not too bad. Some slickness. Alcohol covered pretty well, though there is a slight astringency. Some sweetness covers the mouth.

Not bad, not exciting. On the boring side of pils/Euro lager.

Poured a 500 ML bottle into a glass mug. A nice, golden, hayish color with a thick white head that reduces to about one-quarter of an inch and then holds. A bitter, malty smell that aroused by senses. Almost a skunky or revolting first taste that recedes into a refreshing aftertaste. After the first taste, becomes a lot smoother and still rather refreshing. A nice mouthfeel; a little thicker than what I had expected. A very drinkable beer; a good example of a nice Czech pilsner.
