My second beer by Perła, and to me maybe not quite as good as my first, Perła Export. Both are similar but this one seems to have less of a malty/bready flavor. Still, this tastes exceedingly clean and pure, and hides its 6+% abv very well. And for the price, I'll probably buy both again and try them next to each other to get a better comparison next time.

Pours clear, straw yellow in color with 1/2 inche head. Taste is earthy hops and grain. Light bodied, crisp, sweet, and high carbonation. Makes for a solid and tasty Polish lager. I would get this again.

Perła Chmielowa (Hop)/Lubelska has a thick, white, spongy head, a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, and a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, honey-oriented malt and white bread crust. Taste is of the same, with a pleasant yeast component and a touch of hop bitterness to round out the sip. Mouthfeel is medium, and Perła Chmielowa (Hop)/Lubelska finishes crisp and refreshing.

Poured from a single pint bottle into a stella artois glass. %1.40 something at the beer market!
Clearish frothy, tiny-bubbled head, not too large, and didn't last too long. Fair to excellent lacing.
Smelt very flowery, not bouquet-ish, but more like that initial smell when walking into a garden shop. Color was a nice clear golden amber. Maybe even more on the lighter amber side.
Taste was resinous at first that led to an almost soapy butter as I took i held it in, and gave way to a grainy clove-ish finish.
Pretty good, I mind as well buy a few of these for the price. Or maybe it's just cause I haven't had a pilsner in a while.

500 ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Some poured into the sink.
Pours light amber with virtually no foam or fizz. Settles out immediately. Smell is a rather bland to annoying corn smell. Not a good start.
Taste is a corn/malt combination that isn't nearly as pleasant as that sounds. Grassy in a mildewy kind of way? Kind of reminds me of a malt liquor.
Bad aftertaste, a difficult drink. Go elsewhere.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a fast falling white head. Nose is nice and grainy with a nice meaty/earthy edge to it. Flavor is very robust and deep with a slight earthy and metallic edge to it. Feel is low on bubble on the tongue and a thinner liquid feel. Drinkable, yes. Overall, not too shabby. I won't say it is the greatest ever. But it isn't total garbage.
