Back in Brighton, Have found previous A C Brewing beers very much to my liking and this is ONE EXCELLENT PILSNER!
LOOK: Pours a very light and clear gold with amber hues. Has a off white head with decent retention that also renders some decent side glass lace.
AROMA: Quite a bit going on here for the Pilsner style. Some bread malts, grain, and some mild floral hops. Based on the style the different scents here deserve an additional .25 push.
TASTE: Biscuity malts lead, a little lemon hint in the mild hops.
Quite drying throughout.

S:. Strong floral hop, biscuit and baked bread, with a slight apple juice and a little cat pee at the way end.
T:. Sweet apple juice, baked bread a floral hop, light bitterness. Quite sweet for a pilsener.

O:. decent but doesnt quite feel like a pile to me.

Poured from 12oz bottle into schooner glass. A 1" white head drops quickly with a bit of lacing. Color is clear golden with plenty of carbonation. Aroma of biscuit, grain and noticeable hops. Light and frothy mouthfeel with a mostly dry finish. Flavor of biscuit, bread crust, lemon and grassy hops. A fine enjoyable pilsner.

the latest beer in this colorado native series, and arguably one of the best. up there with the oktoberfest for me as the best so far. cool that they use all colorado ingredients for it, and its super well done, definitely more "craft" tasting to me than the others. its beautiful in the glass, tall white head on a bright golden body in the correct glass. it smells quite hoppy for the style, definitely bitter, but also grassy, dried like straw, and with a super fresh and rather robust cereal grain profile with just a little sweetness running through it. the flavor is just like the nose, almost filling for the style, it has some weight to it, and lots of hop bitterness on the back end. its balanced, but its bigger in both hops and malt than the import standard, thats for sure. very well carbonated too, its delicious and very hearty, satisfying, versatile enough for all four seasons, and fresh as can be. i always knew these guys could make an amazing lager if they put their minds to it, so its nice to see them undertake the task. i will be happy to drink on these throughout the summer, it definitely marks a turning point in quality for the native series! try one and youll see what i mean.
