On the pour a decent white 1 finger head with pretty good retention formed. The body is slightly darker than gold, and has lazy light carbonation.
Aroma is a bit spicy and citrusy. This is an interesting hop mix. Lightly malty with a definite sweetness. Pretty clean.
The taste has a big hit of spicy bitterness right up front, and a very smooth malty sweetness reminiscent of coors. It is quite sweet and almost reminds me of wort.
Feel is weird. Big and mouthcoating, but then it fades into a drier finish that is medium long. For the abv I expected something more drinkable.
Overall this beer isn't bad and it gets the job done, but the abv is a bit low for the amount of flavor you get. Making this not quite a lawnmower beer, bit not quite a craft beer and that puts this in a sort of beer purgatory.

It's nice to see an all-barley malt beer that advertises itself as low in calories, 117. It has much more flavor than most of its competitors in this area. It will appeal to those heavier drinkers that want more flavor and yet get less fat on their bodies. It is more of a beer drinker's beer than that watery-flavored stuff.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
