This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-hazy to burnt orange to ruddy yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a good minute. Lacing was there, somewhat foamy yet slightly thin. The smell had some sweet citrus with a delicate mango and grapefruit. Light sweet grassy tones slide in underneath. The taste was sweet with a nice bitterness backing the flavor all around. Light bitter aftertaste and sly semi-citrus almost juicy finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me. Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.

Got my hands on this rare bottle out of the blue, not expecting it, exploring a beer shop in Vermont, just as one should.
A nice, clear, and filtered beer but still a nice golden hue to the brew. A good change of pace to the NE hop juice i've been becoming snobbishly accustomed to. It does not have a strong hop smell at all, but still a great vast variety of scents. The taste reminds me of more a West Coast IPA, but finishes nicely with a easy mouthfeel, and great fruity aftertaste.
