IPA brewed with an experimental single hop variety featuring pungent tropical fruit and citrus, big notes of resiny pine and hints of black tea.

Poured from the bottle into snifters.
Pours a slightly hazy light amber with half a finger of head.
Aromas are nice sticky fruit, not so much citrus, more tropical notes and flowers.
Flavors are as the bottle describes...mango and herbal notes...some bubblegum...finishes with a black tea note.
Mouthfeel was excellent.
This beer is really well crafted and complex for a single hop IPA. Great beer.

Look is opaque burnt orange with a finger of slightly off white head.

Aroma is orange and pine. Smells real nice .

Taste is different. A small burst of orange followed by a big hit of pine with ample bitterness behind it. The pine completely takes over the fruit. Not bad at all, just different.

Feel is slick and prickly. Right where it should be.

Overall a fine beer with an unusual hop character from what I can only assume is an unusual hop variety. Thankful for the opportunity to try it!

Poured on tap at Stark's pub at MRG at a Lawson's bottle release into Lawson's tulip.

Golden, fairly clear, foamy white head. Head lingers and the lacing is clingy.

The aroma is a bit herbal, earthy, and a touch of resinous pine.

Some citrus and earthy resins. Bit of a spiciness to this hop. Herbal, maybe a bit vegetable. Grapefruit rind, bitterness.

Soft on the palate, bitter, moderate carbonation and medium body. Very drinkable.

An interesting flavor which is much different than the tropical juice brews that are common in New England.

half pour at pro pig on August 3. Notes I emailed to myself:

1f head with good retention, lacing, cap. beer is pale gold clear

very piney, some lime, grapefruit, orange. could be more bitter but isn't.

light to medium body, light to medium carbonation, the usual very solid construction and balance, good drying

first experience with idaho7 hop, love the dual citrus-pine interaction. very good ipa.
