Super Session #3 is designed to be a light and refreshing beer with low alcohol, yet the full hop character of a Session IPA. Each beer in our Super Session series is brewed with the same malt base and specialty malts but features a different single-hop variety. Super Session #3 features full malt flavor and assertive hop character with copious additions of Comet hops late in the kettle and in dry hopping.

Pours a clear yellow. Light foam. Light hop aroma. Clean crisp hop body. Slight bitterness. Very refreshing. Very good for a light IPA.

Picked-up a twelve pack of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for about eighteen dollars. My fifteenth brew reviewed from these guys. Solid LAB, prefer the versions with other hp strains.

From a 16 oz can dated 10 May 22. Sampled June 22, 2022.

The color of the pour is golden with a quick lasting white head. Fades to a ring.

The aroma is light, fruity, and lemony. Low profile grainy notes.

Light mouthfeel.

The taste is sweet, grainy, with an herbal fruity hop crispiness to finish. Easy drinking. Light all around

Citrus, peach, floral, and sweet bread in the nose.

Bitter citrus pine nut and floral hops with a slight sweet bread malt backbone.

16 oz. Can
PKG: 02 APR 22

Poured into a Trilium glass a pretty nice dark golden yellow/orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, guava), kinda piney. The taste is nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, guava), kinda piney. Light body, ABV is hidden very well. Overall, a tasty beer, a nice thirst quencher.
