I just realized I have never reviewed this amazing session beer! I've been drinking this as my preferred session beer over the past 3 summers and I will tell you all why!

L: Pours a golden yellow with a slight haze. Fluffy, white head of 3 fingers reduces pretty quickly, but leaves a nice half finger cap throughout drinking. Minimal lacing.

S: Smells of grapefruit, tangerine, sweet bread malt and mild pineapple.

T: The variety of citrus detected on the nose combine well on the palate and are up front. The hop bitterness, sweet malt and tropical fruit come into play by this point and play very nicely with the citrus. It finishes dry, leaving you craving more.

F: Nice level of carbonation, light bodied and finishes clean. Incredibly drinkable for a session, ESPECIALLY in the hot summers. That light body and clean finish make for a refreshing beer, making it one of my favorite session IPAs.

O: The hop and malt profiles combine for a nice flavor profile overall, all while being lower ABV and lighter bodied, making it an excellent session brew. This is my go to session IPA in the summer and my #1 recommended IPA to those wanting to try the style.

Hazy, pale gold. Nice starting head that recedes quickly but in a lumpy fashion. A few streaks and spots on the glass.

The initial aroma is bready followed by some earthiness. Lastly, there's a funky smell of wet cabbage and cardboard which is distracting.

The body is thinner than most IPAs which is enhanced by the higher than normal carbonation. Bland pale malt starts the taste and the swallow brings forward a decent hop bite. But the aftertaste is more of the wet cabbage which throws off the entire taste. It's drinkable but very odd.

Pours a pale yellow. Thin foam. Light hop aroma. Citrus body. Slight bitter finish. Not too flavorful. Pretty bland and unimpressive. I expected better from Lawsons.
