16 ounce can packaged 05/11/23.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a nearly one inch white head over a nice and bright body with some lacing.

Nose of slight citrus with even slighter tropical fruit and a hint of pine.

Flavor is light citrus with a tiny malt sweetness in the middle to a finish of slight pine bitterness.

Very nice near full feel with more than medium carbonation.

Overall, a low alcohol beer with way more flavor than expected for a 3.4%er.
Find it and crush it!!
Cheers!!!

Reviewing from memory, have had this brew a few times. My twenty third brew reviewed from these guys. This beer is fine, but does not really stand out.

Pint on draft in a glass shaker at Midland Brew House in Saddlebrook, NJ.

Appearance: Pours a clear gold with minimal head. Not a lot of lacing.

Aroma: Not a ton here. A little citrus, especially grapefruit, and hops. Cut grass. It’s clean smelling, but doesn’t hit you hard.

Taste: Follows nose, unfortunately. Just not a ton of flavor. Some grapefruit and lemon notes. Some cracker or bread-like character. A touch of herbal hops. Inoffensive but also not memorable.

Mouthfeel: Thin. Hate to say it, but kind of watery. Easy drinking, though, which was the intent.

Overall: There are a fair amount of low ABV IPA options out there and most of them are better than this. For an IPA to be enjoyable at this strength, it needs enough flavor to make you forget it’s lacking in booze. With this one, you remember. Not horrible, but far from a standout in a crowded field.

Can purchased at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells mostly lemony and minerally, with some crackery malt, and grapefruit.

This is definitely got that session IPA watery character going. It’s definitely super refreshing, and there’s a very pleasant almost mineral water like feel to it, with hints of grapefruit and lemon. There’s a touch of malt character here – crackery and dry, which is not usually the case with session IPAs, at least.

This is very light bodied, thin and watery, with a very good drinkability.

I’ve had better ultra low ABV pale ales/IPAs, but I didn’t hate this.

With much of the flavor we want in IPA but in a less impact formula, Lawson's goes to the beach with a session IPA.

Pale and hazy golden, Beach Party brings the party to the senses with a burst of citrus, tropical, stone fruit and sprucy herbs that floats gently above a cottony white froth. As its low-lying sweetness hits the tongue, a light juiciness of lychee, graham cracker and honeysuckle bring a light and malty early palate.

With the bubbles scurrying away what sweetness is left, the middle palate shifts quickly toward the hops. That's when the tropical flavors of pineapple, mango and passionfruit show up in a dried and dehydrated way. A citrusy zing of tangerine, red grapefruit and lemon soon follow before a light juiciness of cantaloupe splashes the late palate. Trending herbal and bitter, the finishes comes with cedar, spruce, verbena, peppery grasses and a light suggestion of hemp.

Light, crisp and refreshing, Lawson's foregoes bolder flavors, aromas and density for an ale of light bodied, low-alcohol and thirst quenching character. A fast fleeting finish allows for only an extension of grassy bitterness to remain.

Had it on tap and it pours very hazy gold color with a 1 finger thick head that faded slowly and left decent lacing. The aroma was mild with citrus notes like tangerine and grapefruit, as well a mild bread like biscuit. Taste was also mostly citrusy, with tangerine, orange peel, grapefruit, sweet malt/caramel and mild peppery spices. I liked the name and had no idea it was a low ABV session beer until I ordered my second pint, but it was pretty good overall for a 3.4% ABV IPA meant for pounding.
