This incredibly balanced, thirst-quenching blonde ale is bursting with citrusy hop notes that are complemented by a subtle twist of tartness coming from multiple additions of lemon zest.

A: crystal clear; deep gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar; OK lacing;
S: lemon with a bit of lemon pith bitterness;
T: balanced between lemon and lemon pith bitterness from start to finish; mild tartness through out;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate to high carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: needed more lemon and more tartness; I realize it's not a sour, but it needed something to counteract the lemon pith bitterness;

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear deep golden color with a puffy head of white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, very slowly fading over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a grainy smell mixed with notes of lemon. Along with these aromas comes a bit of caramel and a touch of hay and bread.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and bready flavor paired with a touch of caramel and a moderate showing of sweet and sour lemon. There is a bit of rind upfront as well, with this flavor getting stronger as the taste advances. At the same time the bread fades while the graininess increases. Toward the end, some lemon seed and a bit more sweet lemon join in, leaving one with a rather grainy and lightly lemon flavored taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather light, with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the tastes and the style, the feel is quite nice, making for an easy sipper.
Overall – A easy drinking brew with a non-sweet and moderately lemon and grainy taste. Overall, a nice summer style beer.

Had this on 2024-07-18 from a 16 oz canned on 2024-05-14
L - Somewhat-hazy golden-orange with a 1.5-finger head and good lace.
S - White bread (Pils?) malt, hint of lemon. Mildly floral.
T - White bread toast with lemon marmalade. Mild-moderately lemon zest bitterness balances the sweetness in the lingering finish. Very tasty.
F - Light-medium body and medium=high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing.
O - A delicious blonde ale. Would have this any day of the week.

Pours a cloudy orange. Medium foam. Lemony aroma. Light bready malt body with a lemon zest bitter finish. Just the right amount of lemon. Good flavor. Easy drinking. The perfect summer brew.

Sampled at the brewery.
Poured a medium gold with a fair head.
Smell hints at lemons.
Fair moth feel.
Lemon comes through in the taste, plus some sourness.
I wasn’t that impressed.

Pours a hazy light orange from the can, moderate viscosity, light 1/4" collar of head, good streaky lacing. Nose is lemon peel, light tropical hop, sourdough starter, grains. Taste is hop-forward (sweet, tropical) with only a mild lemon kick; mild bitterness mid-palate, but finish stays on the sweet side. A rough and harsh around the edges as well - I'm guessing it's from the lemon rather than the booze. Feel is pretty full with light carbonation. This was certainly fine, but a one-and-done for me.

A good thirst quenching summer brew. Bought it because of the Lawson’s brand. Not special in any way. Rated accordingly.

Nice hazy golden color typical of Lawson's beer. Big head. Tons of lacing.
Smells like lemon and cereal grains.
Taste is balanced with plenty of citrus as well as grainy malts.
On the fuller side of medium with moderate carbonation.
Pretty good blonde. The lemon zest doesn't overpower but keeps you picking up the glass for more.
