Pours a very cloudy and dark pink grapefruit color with a one finger pillowy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Good retention slowly settling with sporadic spotty lacing.
Seedy, slightly acetic aroma with jammy berries crushed nerd/runts and fruit punch. Candy/artificial sweetener with strong notes of juicy, jammy berries. Subtle lactic funk along with musty bugs and sourdough bread but the berries slightly overpower the wheat/Berliner notes.
Medium body with tart citric acidity and funky lactic cheesiness/tangy yogurt flavor. Very seedy and jammy with fresh juicy berries countered by funky yeast, acidic sourness and slight acetic vinegar lingering in the finish. Sour pink lemonade and grapefruit juice dominate flavor along with crushed runts/nerds and granular sugar. Nice balance of berry sweetness, puckering acidity, lactic funk, sourdough bread and tart acetic/balsamic notes. Tastes more like a Berliner than the aroma suggests. Complex yet well balanced, refreshing and easy to drink. Very nice.
