Really enjoyed speaking with Ryan and the two selected beers I had. Awesome tap list. Music was a little too jarring (rap) for the relaxed mood I was in. Will visit again.

First time there and it was very good especially since it was pretty busy. Bar was attentive, helpful and my beer and food came in a very reasonable time. Beer choices were spectacular and the comraderie with others really was fun. I walked out with some cams and bottles that I could only get there. Yay.

Was a little disappointed that Hunahpu wasn't available outside of the event (which we didn't have tickets for), and I had already tried the Marshal Zhukov, but I enjoyed almost every beer that I sampled.

I didn't realize how well-rounded CCB is until visiting the taproom - they nail a wide breadth of styles that I never associated their brewery with. I always perceived them as excelling in brown ales/porters/stouts on the one hand, and hoppy pales/IPAs/DIPAs on the other, but it's clear that their range is much broader than that.

Tried the following beers over the course of two visits:

CCB Chinook Dry-Hopped Invasion Pale Ale (cask)
CCB Blackberry Pineapple Session Sour Ale (sample)
CCB This Won't Be Popular In The Tasting Room English Dark Mild (draft)
CCB Hotter Than Helles Munich Lager (sample)
CCB & Coronado Azimuth Session IPA (draft)
CCB Florida Cracker Belgian-Style White Ale (sample)
CCB Maduro Brown Ale (draft)
CCB Tony Jannus American Pale Ale (sample)
CCB Hoppier Than Helles Hoppy Session Lager (draft)
CCB Florida Man Double IPA (sample)
CCB & DuClaw Impey Barbicane’s Moongun Session Amber Ale (draft)
CCB You Never Know Imperial IPA (sample)
CCB Jai Alai India Pale Ale (draft)

Service was quick and competent and the "Who's Your Dumpling?" food truck provided some much-needed nourishment (we went for the Korean-style "mandu" dumplings). Overall, Cigar City is one of the best breweries in North America and I'm glad we made the pilgrimage here. Recommended.

Admired this place for awhile so had to stop in during a quick day trip to the Tampa area. Everything they make seems to be solid at worst.

As I understand they finished renovations on the main taproom about a week ago so things were still a bit fluid. Selection was above average with a lot of the heavy hitters and some specialty barrel aged beers that people would be excited to see.

Took the tour which was lasted about an hour and was a good deal for the money. Not much to set it apart from your typical brewery tour though.

Overall I respect the beers these guys are putting out and was happy to have seen where it comes from.

You feel like you’re in the swamp when you’re in this place, and I mean that in a positive sense.
Diverse selection of brews and I was able to negotiate with one of the managers on a price for a bottle of BA Zhukov ‘16. Boom!
You can feel the humidity, the dankness, the moisture in the air and you want more of it. So you stay all day, get loaded and enjoy the swamp!

I think CC falls in the category of somewhat out of people's minds. But it should not be. Beers were outstanding. Tried sours, imperial stouts, and a few other stouts. Selection was amazing. Favorite was the cinnamon raisin cookie brown ale. If I had a designated driver it would have gotten ugly. A must visit brewery

Stopped in here one evening while in state briefly for work. No parking in main lot, so I pulled across the street in the well-labeled overflow lot. Ordered a delicious dinner from the food truck outside and sat down with a beer at a picnic table on the patio. It is kind of confusing how there are 2 bars so close to each other with different selections. Also one can accommodate small pours but the other can’t. I wish that all beers had been available in 8oz pours so I could have tried more as I had to drive later that evening. As it was I stuck to 5oz tasters and low abv.

Vibe was compromised also by the fact that all outdoor seating is also the smoking section so warts of smoke kept interrupting my enjoyment.

Overall selection was great, though I again I wish I could have sampled more variety in small pours. To go selection was also pretty good so I rounded out my night by grabbing 4 options from the cooler to enjoy later.

Beer quality was excellent. Good beers, brewed to style, with fun twists that didn’t detract from the overall package. The lemon peel and lemon drop hops lager was quite enjoyable.

Service was good, but I wish they had the flexibility to pour smaller glasses. I offered to pay the same price as a 12 oz. beer for an 8oz. pour and they apologized and poured the full thing. Of course I need to take responsibility cause I did drink the whole thing!

Worth the side trip from Orlando.

A pretty big location, with a solid vibe and a wise decision to separate their location with a Growler / 12oz pour bar and a back bar with varying pours and a larger / small batch variety. Beer quality was good, great selection. Service was very good, and would definitely revisit.

Great selection of beer on tap at 3 different bars in the vast brewery warehouse. Chill music on the i-pod shuffle and local food trucks to keep your mind stable after a few 10% beers. The best treat were their Cask Ales on tap :)

Thursday, 6/14/18. Dizzying array of taps and a killer sounding menu (though we didn't eat). The general vibe is pretty snobby though. We got there a half hour before close but it was the biggest chore in the world to be served a flight that late in the night apparently. Bought some Space Pope at the main bar. Two of the three bartenders at the main bar were relatively friendly but the guy at the merchandise bar just couldn't be bothered. I asked him some legit questions about the Marshall Zhukov variants in the case and he treated me like I was a nail in his foot. I couldn't have felt more unwelcome. So...vibe? Nah.

"It's......Marshall Zhukov.... ...... (dead stare) but....with hazelnut and vanilla." "Yeah okay. So does it stick out or is it more of a background flavor?" "What does it matter? (stare)" I laughed and said, "it doesn't anymore buddy," and turned to walk away as I saw my wife was already steps ahead of me.

How did he get a job? "Hello I'm an asshole, please hire me so your brewery looks hipster"? I decided against buying any $25 Zhukov - either because he was not informed well enough or perhaps I just felt unwelcome. I could have easily dropped another $150 there, but suddenly I was completely content with my 6 pack of Space Pope - a whopping $10 with tax, and the cost of the flight ($8), and we hit the road. Lost some business there.

Don't meet your heroes. CC is not as exciting as it used to be.

Could have been a better experience.

Taproom is filled with a bunch of snobs. The tenders are identical as they throw shade at everyone that walks in. Kind of bullshit. Was from out of town and knew nothing about their brews, but couldn't get the time of day from any of the employees. The beer is good, their service is fucking terrible, and that is being nice.

This place will always be my favorite brewery in Florida. Outstanding customer service, excellent beers, and delightful patrons. Really hard to find a better brewery in Florida IMHO.

The brewery itself is clean and comfortable but nothing to write home about, really, so I'll just speak to the selection. Cigar City has multiple very good beers, e.g., Jai Alai, Guayabera, Hunahpu, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Brown Ale, and Cafe Con Leche. They have 20ish things on tap and some bottles (like Hunaphu) that you can buy. The bottles are all pricey but stuff you probably wouldn't be able to get otherwise, without trading. Everything they make is solid. Go if you're in Tampa.

Fun place. Great people. Two bars and 20 CC Beers to try. Good range Inc 4 intros and 2 on cask. Current tap lineup was pretty good but too many MOR beers. Some very good but little exemplary. A couple of experimental beers were interesting. Vintage bottles of great stuff / fairly priced but on premises drinking only really limits ability to taste and savor. Unless you come as a group and share the bombers. Cooler had a number of choices for 4/6 packs... and a couple of BA singles. All in all plenty to try and still take some home. Staff are awesome, friendly and super knowledgeable.
Would definitely recommend for a visit if in Tampa/St Pete area.

This place hearkens back to the small-town bar feel that I, like many others; know and love. But, as a brewery; has a great selection of drafts available for just about anyone.

Love hanging out at this brewery. They always have a great draft selection, and even pour bottles of Hunahpu's from time to time. There's plenty of room and two bars.

Cool feeling inside with a lively crowd of people. Had a nice selection of their beers and for the most part has friendly staff.
The tour is a must and I personally had a great tour guide. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates beer. Cigar City definitely knows what they are doing. The gift shop on site has a nice selection of gear with fair prices. Have fun!

We did the brewery tour on a Sunday. Staff was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Excellent beers...I mostly stuck with the Jai Alai (excellent). We were hoping to get the White Oak Barrell Aged Jai Alai but they were out at the brewery. We later found some locally at Whole Foods and it did not disappoint.
Great Vibe. There was always a good crowd but lines moved quickly. Great food trucks; Highly recommended.

Tons of beers on tap at the bar and in the Brewery itself inside. Great selection of merchandise as well like tons of t-shirts, hats, stickers, just about anything you would want. There were also 3 full coolers of beer for purchase in case you did bring or didn't want to purchase a growler for the tap selections. I purchased 3 bombers of beers I had not seen before, a t-shirt and a sticker for my laptop. Will hit this brewery up again, next time I'm in Tampa.

V: A very chill and relaxed environment, I do wish the building was more interesting but it has the pleasant and inviting feel of a local brewery and that I like
Q: Well I mean it is Cigar City, so yeah
S: The service was good and the staff was friendly, on par with anyone else but not above and beyond, no complaints here
SL: They have a wide selection of beers but not so many that the menu would seem bloated

I recently visited Cigar City Brewing in Tampa. I had had their Jai Alai before and I love it. They have two bars, a smaller one and a larger bar featuring more choices. The smaller bar had fewer choices but you could sit there while ordering from the other bar. I chose to sit by the smaller bar because the other bar was too crowded and there were no seats available. They had a lot of selections. I didn’t count but I would say a few dozen. I had Jai Alai (of course), Space Pope IPA, and the Cognac Oak Barrel Aged Raspberry Halo Imperial Stout. The Cognac Oak Barrel Aged Raspberry Halo Imperial Stout was an incredible stout, perhaps the best stout I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Like at so many other breweries you get your food from food trucks. When I visited, they had a Taco Truck. I was told that the Taco Truck is what they usually have. Unfortunately, they ran out of Tacos at about seven thirty. They went to get more and I bought some Tacos when they came back. I was lucky. I got the last Tacos before they ran out again. The Tacos were good, but perhaps the Taco operation could improve a bit. That’s not the breweries fault though. Overall I think it was a very nice brewery with a good atmosphere.

Pit stop in Tampa from Orlando and boy was it worth it. There are two tasting rooms with different selections in each (cans to go and merch in the front). Insane number of beers on draft plus bottle pours of Huna 2014!!!! Highlight was Caffe Americano.
