Looks not unlike Jai Alai, the base brew--dark orange, but with less of a head.
A lot of Southeast Asian cuisine aromas come off of this in powerful waves. An overwhelmingly extreme lime aroma is like a very freshly dissolved lime candy. There is even some ginger or something, it's pretty acidic or spicy smelling.
Powerful acidity on the tongue comes through as spiciness as well, either from the oak, or the heavy doses of lime. It's so fresh and herbal it's almost like the potent leaves of Thai basil you get with a bowl of pho. This suggestion becomes even more powerful when the spiciness reminds you of the raw jalapeno you get with the soup.
Overall, all these efforts to make a unique IPA are off-putting and even painful at times.
