500ml bottle at brewery. No code date on bottle. Appearance: Light straw yellow, perfectly clear, with a frothy white head and nice lacing. Aroma: Grassy, lemon, spicy hops dominate over a light cracker maltiness. Taste: Light cracker malt sweetness leading to a spicy, grassy bitterness that builds to a strong crescendo. Mouthfeel: Light bodies with a moderately high carbonation. Finish: Grassy, spicy hop bitterness dominates the finish over a bit of bready maltiness Overall: Really nice clean, crisp, refreshing helles with an aggressive hopping that helps add complexity to the aroma. Aroma has a nice grassy, herbal, and lemon character. Well balanced and easy drinking.

Sampled inside the Cigar City brewery.
Slightly hazy yellow gold with a good head.
Hoppy as an IPA but only mildly bitter.
A fruity IPL by another name.
