Draft, 4 oz sampler glass
The smoke is prominent but perfectly used, melds with the sweet chocolate and licorice, just a touch of bitter hops and roasted malt. Extremely well done.

Don’t want to add another beer that’s a duplicate, but had this as part of a flight at the Brewpub last weekend listed as Sagittarius A* Espresso . Not sure if it is different or what, but rating here as a new beer as espresso was not mentioned in previous versions of the beer.
Pours black with a small mocha and creamy head. Aroma of rye malts, strong hops, some chocolate, and a bit of earthy coffee. Flavor follows with lactose and rye spice notes, chocolate, spicy coffee, some other sweetness that is difficult to describe. Medium bodied with medium carbonation and a dry finish. This was actually pretty nice, with a great hop presence that is somewhat unexpected in the style. Worth having on tap if you are in the area.
