Reviewed from long-standing notes. Poured from bomber into a 7venth Sun goblet.
A: Pours a hazy light gold, with a good amount of visible carbonation and a finger's worth of white foamy head.
S: Wheat, cracker malts. Yeast esters - clove, banana and apple - rise about the bready yeastiness. A light mustiness as well.
T: Yeast esters up front, with flavors that follow the nose. Wheat grains, but with only a very low amount of husky character. Some ginger in the flavors that I didn't pick up in the aroma, and it finishes with the sweet esters lingering.
M: Light body, good carbonation sensation, and low alcohol presence.
O: I think this was a fairly good witbier. Not generally my personal preference, so there's a ceiling for me. But still, enjoyable. Ratings given reflect as to style - my personal preference might be a bit lower.

Appearance is golden and hazy. The little head that it does give, disappears quickly such as that of a marriage. Mouthfeel is medium light with strong carbonation. Hits the front of the palate and the middle similar to a less funky saison, the back of the palate is hit with a combination of herbs and spices. Some earthy, some spicy, with slight bitterness. The combination is pleasant. Overall a good beer, but not something I would seek out again.

A- Overly hazy yellow body to a pint glass with a creamy white head up to finger or so. Large belt deposits spotty lace.
S- Ginger for the most part with a spicy, herbal Belgian yeast profile behind it. Slight vanilla sweetness and lemon zest citrus.
T- Ginger off to the races here leading to coriander, pepper, lemon peel, clove, banana, sage, bread and pale cracked Pils grain.
MF- Light overall body with a foamy and smooth consistency. Finishes with yeast spice lingering and tiny bitterness.
Seems like ginger is one of the spices and the rest could be exogenous or from the yeast strain used. Cool to have a CCB Witbier.
