Pours a dark reddish brown color with reddish khaki colored head. Roasted malts and raw bitter cocoa on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium to full bodied. Finishes with a bittersweet chocolate note, almost like a good dark chocolate that has just a little sweetness to it.

32oz growler filled at the brewery on 12/22/2015. Pours a dark brownish black color with light tan head. The aroma and taste are like bitter dark chocolate that has been sweetened ever so lightly. The finish is on the dry side.
