12 oz. bottle. Inky black. Big brandy aroma. Fudge. Some molasses and brown sugar. A little bourbon. Taste is equally strong brandy. Sweet and brown sugary up front. Roasted malt and molasses. Again, not much bourbon. Heavy and sweet. Excellent. Really sweet, but enough barrel character to keep it interesting.

i went into this thinking it's a bad idea to blend beers. and blending two great beers at that. this looked like a classic big stout. black with a light brown head, exactly how i like stouts to look. however, this isn't a stout. it's a blend of two of my favorite beers they've ever made. bourbon barrel big sound is incredible, and it's been in barrels for a little over 2 years?! and mix in a little cali brandy stout, you've got a blended beer that's actually (really) good.
